Description
West Michigan Tooling Coalition (WMTC) is a coalition of West Michigan companies providing a full range of services to the tool and die industry. Our mission is to offer broad, multifaceted tooling support to North American companies that exceed customer expectations and provide a framework which encourages cooperation with the Coalition. Its purpose is to aggressively pursue programs capitalizing on Coalition strengths, developing synergistic cost-reduction opportunities, and by offering long term performance improvements by: 1). Joint sales and marketing efforts, 2). Providing work load balance, 3). Developing standardized process, 4). Providing purchase economies of scale, 5). Encouraging R & D innovation, 6). Offering comprehensive and effective program/project management, 7). Standardizing tooling standards, 8). Seeking long term customer relationships that will help WMTC to provide technological knowledge to our customers to aid them in reducing costs, 9). Overseeing services to our customers by providing high production tooling (i.e. first time quality, change over time, cycle time, etc.)
